New Year's Eve at The Brehon-The Brehon Brazilian Ball

New Year’s Eve at The Brehon, Killarney
The Brehon Brazilian Ball
The sights and sounds of one of the world’s biggest celebrations will be replicated at The Brehon Brazilian Ball this New Year’s Eve.
Every year thousands of revellers from all over the world flock to Brazil for its legendary New Year’s Celebrations and so the team at The Brehon have imported the best ingredients for a Brazilian night out.
“Brazilians certainly know how to throw a great party and we will transform The Brehon into samba central complete with Caipirinha cocktails, Capeoira Dancers, and of course The Caipirinha Band all the way from Brazil,” says  Gary Curran, General Manager at The Brehon.
Food is an integral part of the celebrations and Head Chef Mike Hayes and his team will create a huge selection of traditional dishes for the Brazilian Buffet.
The Capeoira dancers will literally kick off the entertainment with their astounding style of dance which combines martial arts, sport and music and is completely unique to Brazil. Then it’s samba time with The Caipirinha Band followed by The Sun Brothers who will have you dancing late into the night.
Brazilians believe that wearing certain colours can derive specific results in the coming year - white will bring peace, prosperity and good luck, green for good health, yellow for wealth, pink for love, red for passion and purple for inspiration. The dress code for The Brehon Brazilian Ball is semi-formal.
Tickets to The Brehon Brazilian Ball cost €65 and are on sale now. A two-night stay at The Brehon, including a ticket for the ball, costs from €229 per person sharing. For further information or to book call The Brehon on 064 6630700 or email info@thebrehon.com.
